Has anyone ever pissed you off?

Do people or situations from the past pop into your mind at times?

Are you holding on to any resentments or complaints?

The thing is, a lot of the time these hidden resentments, upsets and negativities are operating at a subconscious level.

I was chatting with a lady today who said that she doesn’t hold onto any negative feelings toward anyone.

But upon enquiry we found several relationships which still had an unresolved conflict or underlying negative program.

So what’s the point of all this?

Through self awareness, radical forgiveness and a connection to ones greater Self, upsets, complaints, negativities, resentments, blame, hate etc. can be let go of and enhance your life dramatically.

Saint John said ‘I must decrease, He must increase’ which suggests to us that our petty little self must relinquish all the negativities and we must increase our awareness of our Higher Self and the energies of connection, wholeness and lovingness that come with it.

Let’s put it another way, the Buddha stated that ‘holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.’

So radical forgiveness, meaning forgiving everyone including ones self at all times, in all places and under all circumstances will liberate your energy. Giving you a sense of freedom, joy and lightness.

In turn this will empower you to move towards whatever your intention in life might be.

Think of it this way, if you’re walking to your friend’s house dragging bags of rocks it’s going to be much more difficult than just walking without them. By holding onto resentments and negativities you carry emotional bags of rocks with you, which weigh you down unknowingly.

I can say this from direct experience, I had opened a business which I had built for 7 years of love, effort and all the things that go into opening and sustaining a business. Long story short, one of my partners turned around and stabbed me in the back, told lies about me, hurting me not only financially but emotionally and mentally as well.

It was extremely difficult to forgive, but I worked on it consciously for a couple of years until finally I felt like I was able to truly forgive both myself, the other party and the whole situation. I felt a massive release and almost instantly an overwhelming sense of joy. I got up and walked down to the beach (when I was living in Cyprus) and it literally felt like I was floating. I dove into the water and it felt like I was flying.

So if there’s something in your life that is just not working out or if there’s patterns that just keep happening or if you’re just feeling stuck, perhaps there might just be something or someone that needs forgiveness.

I wish for you the release of any negativities which may be holding you back.
